se Auctions are a “Hot Topic” in 2009 2009 has been the year of watching every penny we spend. If you could find a way to save on “everything” you normally buy on a daily basis, it would only make sense to do it.  Wouldn’t it?

We all know that negotiating with the sales guy at the Apple Store for a better price on that br& new Mac Book Pro or new Ipod is unheard of. What about the lady behind the counter at Home Depot? Tell her you need a $200 gift card, you only want to pay $89, & watch her laugh you out of the store.  How many of you have just scrounged nickels an dimes to be able to take the family to a nice dinner? I know I have.

Let me tell you, times have changed. For the first time in history consumers have the power to collectively negotiate the price of products downward. We are not talking about used products coming from private parties on Ebay, these are new name br&, top of the line items with manufacturers warranties.

I found the best reverse auction site is www.shoppingtowin.com . This shopping community concept has been perfected in Europe over a number of years, & finally has been introduced to the US market. My self, my family & friends have received tremendous value by using the shopping community & the reverse auctions.

For example, while writing this article today, this Sunday August 23rd I won a $500 Visa gift card, for $0.00 in the ZERO auctions.  Last week I won a $500 smart phone for $0.00 in the ZERO auctions.  My wife was able to buy a Laptop computer for approximately $100 below the manufacturer’s sale price in the Express Auction.  Finally, the guy that recommended the site to me won a $25,000 2009 Harley Davidson for & a $2000 travel voucher in the Unique Bid Auction for less than $5000.  Unlike Costco you don’t have to pay a membership fee.

There are also over 10,000 restaurants in the community. I can immediately & instantly save 60% & sometimes more, by typing in my zip code. I regularly take my wife to dinner & only pay $32 for a $100 meal.  It’s an amazing shopping experience.

You can literally save up to 20% per year on everything you already normally purchase from the same stores that you already use & trust. Among them are Vons & Safeway to Guitar Center & Hot Topic.  Apple, Best Buy, Kmart, Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, JC Penny, Macys, Saks , Nordstrom & many more . With over 1000 major retailers involved, this is the largest online shopping mall in the nation.

In today’s declining economy, traditional brick & mortar stores are becoming a thing of the past. As an incentive to help these major retailers transition into a bigger presence online & take a bigger step into the world of virtual shopping, they’re actually give you cash back on every purchase.  This is cash that you, the consumer, would not be able to get by walking into their physical stores.

Let’s face it, the Ebay excitement is over.  You never really know what you are getting, or if the seller on the other end has as much integrity you.  Amazon is cool, but they don’t share their income or discounts with the consumer. It is what it is.
